Helen Adams Keller (June 27, 1880 – June 1, 1968)

Helen Keller was deaf and blind, but that did not stop her from becoming a professional speaker, and author, being the first deaf and blind person to get a Bacherlor of Arts degree. Helen was also involved in politics, which takes good communication skills.
I remember watching a movie about when Helen Keller was taught how to speak by Anne Sullivan. It was truely remarkable how Helen Keller became a better writer than me, even though I can see and hear, and she couldn't.
