Although none of us probably remember this moment in history, (besides our parents, and older relatives.) I think that it took very good communication skills, and a lot of charisma to keep people motivated and inspire them to triumph against the Soviets in future space-related events. Although the late Kennedy didn't get to see the Americans land on the moon, his greatful words still inspire many, up to this day.
Like Kennedy Said: "[T]his nation will move forward, with the full speed of freedom, in the exciting adventure of space."
