Newspapers Headlines as E-mail Subject lines

I think that the best way to compose an e-mail subject line, is to compare it as a newspaper headline. Newspaper headlines always seem to express the entire article with information and results with phrases like "2 survive avalanche in Whistler" or "Lottery Fraud Arrested".

Here's some tips for making subject lines more explicit like newspaper headlines:

-be as specific as possible
-tell the main point of the message

It's a useful talent to condense and be explicit at the same time.

So remember, subject lines are like newspaper headlines.
