Strategic Communications

I came across a term called "strategic communications" I was intrigued by the name and decided to further research it. I think this is a relevant concept for most people as we all hope that our communications are persuasive to our audience and don’t just get dusted under the rug. I believe the key to being an effective communicator involves an aspect of persuasive communication. The more powerful your message comes across to your audience, the more meaning it will convey. Although this particular description of strategic communication is from a blog, I feel that the information is presented in an easy to read manner and incorporates a lot of valid information. Near the end of the write up on this blog the author comments on how the tem strategic communication has gained increasing popularity thought the years. This was particularly evident on job posting sites as recruiters and hiring managers would use this term.
